What is Absolute Leadership Development?
Absolute Leadership Development Incorporated is a non-profit organization that registered with the government of Canada, charity # 86527 6364 RR0001. This organization operates under the fundamental belief that every person has value and the potential to make good choices. The strategy of Absolute revolves around the youth generation, as we believe that they hold the future of our world.
How are you funded?
By kind donors and sponsors just like yourself! Actually, about 70% of our operations are funded through the programs themselves (school presentations and Hero Holiday) , and 30% through fundraising. Most charities operate on over 80% donations - so we are very efficient at maximizing our donors’ money towards having the greatest impact. Anything that you can contribute truly makes a difference in the lives of many students in Canada and impoverished children throughout the world.
Is Absolute part of any other government, religious, or business organization?
No, although we are privileged to partner with other organizations on various projects, Absolute is it’s own entity.
Are you a religious or political organization?
Absolute’s primary purpose is non-religious and non-political. The core belief we uphold is the value and dignity of every human life; a belief that is common to most religions and belief systems. Although Absolute is largely made up of people from faith backgrounds, we try not to label ourselves as “Christian” or “religious”, because such words are full of mis-perceptions and poorly communicate the neutrality and inclusively of our core programs. In a more secondary / personal role Absolute does not discriminate against providing our services to churches and faith-based organizations, and we rely on their support (often providing billets, accommodations and donations) to continue to travel Canada.
