Its May 1st and we had been promising the launch of a new website today… well it’s here! (sort of). We ran into a slight hiccup along the way: the individual that we had hired to make our website went completely AWOL 5 days ago!! - leaving almost nothing behind. So basically overnight, I was tossed head first into learning to program and design in PHP & CSS. Armed with a pinch of knowledge and a heap of Red Bull, this is what we managed to build as the basics of our new website so far. Since we had been promoting a new site for May 1, we wanted to put up at least a bit of a teaser of the site.
This new website is not focused on flashy graphics and effects - the primary focus is on producing fresh content and creating dynamic communication. This site is all about keeping in touch with our supporters and fans. There are a lot of people who believe in the vision of Absolute, and hopefully this new site will go a long ways towards you being able to keep your finger on the pulse of what is happening at Absolute. Please keep returning over the next few weeks as we start to transition all areas of our old website into this one.
